Convention, Conference and Training Centers and Ballrooms
The acoustical design of multi-purpose ballroom and convention facilities involves providing adequate separation between adjoining rooms often with operable walls dividing rooms so a wedding or sales event with high levels of amplified sound can occur next to a seminar where people are trying to listen intently to a lecture; providing a flexible A/V system that can be combined in many ways; providing sound absorbent materials to reduce noise build-up from conversations when the rooms are used for dining and noise and vibration control for large HVAC systems.
