Amphitheaters and Outdoor Venues

Acoustical design of amphitheater involves several important issues. The architectural acoustic shaping of the canopy and performance space to project sound to the audience and allow performers to hear each other is of prime importance. Design of house sound systems or infrastructure for rental sound systems is also provided. Environmental noise analysis of sounds propagating from the amphitheater to the surrounding community is modeled and a noise mitigation plan for the facility is also developed to reduce noise impacts during shows.
