Siebein Associates provides a full range of acoustical design services from pre-design meetings with client and design team through commissioning of the finished work.

 

During the initial stages of a project, we provide programming and pre-design services, meeting with design team to better understand both the needs and desires of the client and the realistic budgetary constraints that often confront them.

 

We work closely with the Architects and Engineers during the early design phases to explore a number of design options and creative architectural ideas to meet the acoustical needs of the facility. As the design ideas are further refined, we use the latest in three-dimensional computer modeling and auralization or aural simulation technology to allow the Architect and client to actually hear how different design concepts would sound long before groundbreaking occurs.

During the Construction Documents Phase, we provide detailed drawings and specifications to support our acoustical design recommendations including sound system drawings and specifications. Thorough reviews of design documents at the end of each phase and at significant progress printings verify the acoustical integrity of the Contract Documents.

Our experience in the architecture and construction industry, as well as our use of sophisticated acoustical modeling techniques, allows us to actively participate in the value-engineering process, and to stay within budgetary project constraints throughout the design process.

Finally, a combination of shop drawing and submittal reviews, timely construction site visits, and final acoustical measurements ensure that the acoustical design criteria established at project conception are met upon project completion.
